Right Now(last night)

I sit here after dinner,

cozy in my flannel pjs,

warming myself in front of the wood stove,

somewhat watching a tv melodrama,

scanning over the iPad ,

listening for the dryer to finish,

sipping tea,

mesmerized by the cat snuggled into her catnip treat,

while the porch light shines through the shades,

and my comfy, soft pillow beacons me to bed now.
