Day 5

Saturday is usually the day to run errands and get caught up on chores. It was so relaxing and enjoyable as I was able to drive the country back roads to my destination( grocery store etc.). The sun is shining and the world is bright and shining clear on the recent snow and ice. So beautiful, it almost hurts. A great day to be alive! And healthy! And full of possibilities!

  1. Your view about running errands is very encouraging. It may not be the errands that you enjoy but the scenery that you see on the way. It really does make a difference on how someone sees things. For you, it gives you the chance to drive the country roads and appreciate the beauty of nature. Looking at it this way makes the chore a much more enjoyable one. Yet, it’s so true. We should be thankful that we are given another day to breathe.

  2. It’s a beautiful day here, as well.
The sun is shining and it’s 76 degrees!
The wildflowers of Central Texas springtime are starting to fill the roadways and it leaves me speechless every time.
Aren’t we so blessed to have such beauty around us every day?
And aren’t we even more blessed to have the eyes (& heart) to stop and take it in…?
    Thanks for sharing!

  3. I took my time a bit today in the grocery store, too. I thought I was going to go and work at school to get ready for next week. But, I’m glad I took the time to poke about. Our culture celebrates getting things done just a little too much.
